Jafa Oram
a military commander of the Al Musa
Early Life & Education
Jafa Oram was a military commander of the Al Musa Empire whose career spanned tumultuous religious uprisings and campaigns against alien invaders. A key lieutenant under Dakhal Liwid, Jafa earned renown for his strategic brilliance during pivotal battles against both internal dissenters and external threats like the Q'Kwagat raiders. A member of the Tamim tribe, Jafa converted to the faith of Buyuk in 2531 following contact with Al Musa. Initially embroiled in the intrigues of the "Troubles," he briefly allied with the false prophetess Jasah Harat before her execution. His early years demonstrated a balance of tribal loyalty and religious devotion, setting the stage for his later military successes.
Career
Jafa's career in the Pashi began under the legendary Dakhal Liwid. Key victories included the suppression of Tulayah's rebellion at the Battle of Busaka and successive campaigns to repel the K’Qwagat, a species infamous for enslaving and consuming populations. Jafa’s strategies during the invasions of Rustum and Yarmouk highlighted his prowess in mobile defense and urban assault. At Qadisiya, his cunning misdirection and fortification of captured positions became textbook maneuvers in Al Musa military history.
Death and Legacy
Despite his battlefield achievements, Jafa faced court intrigue and political purges. After quelling a rebellion led by Duhal Bava, his overzealous suppression tactics drew criticism, leading to his exile under Lord Uthman Umar. Jafa spent his final years in Beranek as a teacher and elder before returning to Uafa to live in quiet retirement, revered but shadowed by controversy. He is presumed to have died at Uafa.
