  • AR Draeger joins the growing list of Takamo Universe authors with a tale about a reckless ex-military pilot that will force her to do some nefarious spy stuff to save her brother. She doesn't exactly have a plan, but she plunges ahead anyway, and to add to her troubles, she has to deal with underworld elements and a do-gooder cop. This is a fast-moving story with a lot of humor. It is not a long story and I read it in an evening. It left me wanting more and the "To be continued" ending gives me hope that I will be seeing sequels. A very good addition to the Takamo Universe library.

  • This was a great read from beginning to end. I'm ready to read book two! Degara has to participate in some shady stuff to save her brother. This story is tons of action. I love the fight scene near the end. Lots of questions about Degara and what comes next.

A must-read for fans of science fiction adventures and strong female characters. It follows Degara Omiata on a journey to save her brother and the Lost Worlds colonies. It is a story of sacrifice, redemption, and the power of hope.

This story is set in a future where the human Terran Republic has colonized many regions throughout the Orion Spur of the galaxy. The Lost Worlds colonies are home to unique and diverse cultures under threat by General Cormanov, a powerful, sinister warlord.

Degara is a disgraced pilot and a deserter. To save her brother Demsel, a military officer and the crown jewel of the family, from a traitorous plot, she is forced to accept one more assignment from the government she despises.

Degara is a complex and compelling character. She is flawed, but she is also brave and resourceful.

The series is well-written, exciting, and a quick read. The author Amber Draeger does a great job of creating a believable world and remarkable characters. The action sequences are thrilling, and the suspense is nail-biting.
