Sharyn Moran joined the ERCA Rangers for the money. Spies are well-paid, and it takes a lot of cash to support a houseful of orphans. There will never be another broken child in the ERCA star systems, not on her watch. But when her latest mission is compromised, Sharyn must get back to her ship before her enemies overtake her. What a fascinating adventure and love story!
Truppen Robots are taking over humanity, only there are five men who are enhanced bios, created by monks, capable of fighting the Truppen. We meet them hiding out in a little outpost.
Sharyn is there on a mission. She meets Ren while attempting to steal his bike. He’s so impressed with her skill that he offers to give her a ride wherever she wants to go. She has a ship hidden, only a drone is following them to it. And thus begins their constant struggle to survive.
I love how, even in dire situations, attacks, & abductions, the author finds places for love to grow, and even misunderstandings to occur.
Then matters turn really bleak, and for most of the book, I remained worried for many of the characters I had grown to love. And honestly, I remain worried at the end, but for a moment, there is a lovely HFN (Happy for now). There is clearly another book in the future, and I cannot wait to read it.
Love the humanity in the guys it’s refreshing I would definitely recommend this book for others. Can’t wait to read more hopefully it’s not the last book.
