Dark Star
Aeon Project Book II
by A.R. DECLERCK
This story is about a love that transcends time and space. A reminder that it is the most powerful force in the universe. It can conquer all, even in the face of a darkness that threatens to consume everything.
Primary One is a subject of the Aeon Project, the first in a long line of laboratory experiments carried out at the Emperius laboratories by the heretical “Maker” sect. It has left him broken and filled with darkness until he meets Yurie. Her loving care draws him from his darkness, but their happiness is short-lived. The Northern Alliance discovers and raids the hidden Maker facility, One, and his boys are bound with command programming to become the first Truppen super-soldiers of the Consular Wars. Yurie is arrested, imprisoned in a cryo-chamber, and disappears when the lab is decommissioned. There are rumors that Yurie was killed, but One never gives up hope of finding her.
When the ERCAn Rangers recover a datacore that reveals that Yurie is alive, One must return to the abandoned caverns of Emperius to rescue his beloved wife.
But there are others watching Emperius. Men of violence, who will make sure that One and Yurie don’t get out alive.
This is an adventure that you don’t want to miss!

Reviews
Great sci fi romance. But the universe is dark with only small spots of hope. I was surprised that One's story was the second book, but I think Yurie's expertise will be needed for the coming conflict. It is refreshing to read a sci fi romance with a great plot, fascinating characters, and no graphic sex. I recommend reading the series in order.
